Welcome to Montana Rose Mini Goats. We are an MGA (Miniature goats Australia) registered Australia miniature goat stud located in Strathalbyn South Australia, breeding quality mini goats for pets, showing and registered breeding programs.
We welcomed our first beautiful kids in august 2022, and have since welcome many more, all with great qualities and personalities making the perfect pets, show goats and for breeding. In 2024 we attended our first MGA show at Gawler, and we have loved meeting new people and showing our amazing goats ever since, check out the shows tab to see the results from previous shows and upcoming shows we are attending.

About The Aussies Mini Breed
This breed has been bred down from a myriad of other breeds that have been bred in Australia since 1900s. These animals have been bred down over the years and often crossed to the hardy Australian rangeland goat. Australian Miniatures are all-rounders in the mini goat world. Some are bred for their coat to spin or for use in craft projects. Most will give enough milk for a family of 4 and will milk up to 6months at a time. Australian Miniatures can have all types of ear set, coat and eye colours. Miniature Goats are very intelligent animals with gentle and affectionate natures. Caring for these adorable little animals can be performed easily and safely by a person of any age.
